Joseph Colletti, PE, PhD

Engineer / President

I’m a licensed Professional Engineer in New York with a PhD in Civil Engineering from the University at Buffalo. My background includes experience across engineering, fieldwork, and applied problem-solving. I work at the intersection of science and the built environment, helping clients navigate technical challenges with practical, informed solutions.

My goal is to offer clear guidance and practical solutions that help projects move forward with confidence.

  • Over 20 years of experience supporting a range of projects, from residential work to larger site developments

  • Licensed Professional Engineer in New York State, with experience focused on safety, quality, and practical outcomes

  • Often involved in reviewing site conditions, coordinating with project teams, and helping resolve construction issues

  • Background includes both fieldwork and office-based analysis, planning, and reporting

  • Completed doctoral research at the University at Buffalo, focused on how soils and structures interact

  • Frequently called on to assist when questions arise or when extra technical input is needed

  • Previously taught college-level coursework and worked with students and early-career engineers

Outside of work, I’m interested in exercise, nutrition, and health—especially how small, consistent choices can have a big impact. I also enjoy spending time with my wife, Dara, and our two dogs, Maddie and Ellie—usually walking, tackling projects around the house, or just relaxing together.
